Manufacturer of customizable automation and motion control products as well as engineering support, nationally

Eagan, Minnesota, December 13, 2022 – John Henry Foster Minnesota, Inc. (JHFoster), a value-added partner of fully-integrated automation solutions, turn-key systems, and distributor of electrical and pneumatic automation components, parts and accessories, compressed air systems, collaborative and industrial robotics, and customized systems to automate manufacturing has finalized its acquisition of Accu Tech USA. Known nationally for delivering customizable automation and motion control products, Accu Tech USA also specializes in providing engineering support including application design, selection of products and project implementation.

Accu Tech USA will be joining the JHFoster Automation Group of companies, which continues to expand and includes Sensors Incorporated, Sensors Integration, Automation & Robotics Solutions (A&RS), and PTS Products. The Automation Group of Companies is led by Tim Swedberg, Sr. Vice President at JHFoster. Ed Lee, President of Accu Tech USA, will temporarily report to Nicholas M. Martino, CEO and President of JHFoster, during the phasing in of the company into our operating system, while Swedberg remains focused on the Sensors, A&RS and PTS integrations.

“Our customers will now have the largest selection of actuators, ball screws, collaborative robots and linear guides in North America,” Swedberg explains. “Not only that, but they’ll receive application engineering support and machine services as well. Being able to supply and customize machined parts for specific applications, while offering that specific engineering support, we can truly say we offer the full-service automated solution.”

Martino adds, “We are pleased that Accu Tech USA is joining the JHFoster group of companies. This acquisition will add an additional range of innovative and customizable products to meet the needs of our customers locally and now nationally.”

Lee explains further, “Joining the JHFoster team, and being a part of the Automation Group, will enable us to provide a comprehensive and now all-inclusive customer experience, including engineering design and automation customization paired with world-class service and support.  We are committed to putting our customers first and continuing to supply our high-quality products and services to the market.”

Accu Tech USA will continue to operate locally and nationally under the same brand, and remain at its headquarters in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The Automation Group will continue to operate in JHFoster’s five-state territory, with expanded reach from its Minnesota based Sensors and PTS locations, and from A&RS in Des Moines, Iowa.
